In looking at the seaweed and kelp farming industry and speaking with farmers, I heard time and again that farms are employing technology developed for other industries. These technologies work as a stopgap but can be made much better. This is the reason why I decided to start SEA, to act as the engineering partner of startups and companies looking to improve their business practices with the application of specifically designed technology.
